The climate and nature crisis is escalating. AI offers a once-in-a-generation chance to scale frontline impact. But right now, it’s not reaching the nonprofits who need it the most. Our AI-readiness program builds foundational skills, offer practical ethical frameworks and safety guidelines and offers tools and tactics to use AI in a responsible and sustainable way.

Accelerating responsible AI adoption

Together with long-term partner CIVIC: The Civil Society and Social Innovation Alliance, the World Bank Group's global financing facility for civil society organizations (CSOs) and social innovators, we pioneered a online training program structured around global cohorts or change makers and sustainability leaders.

By building general AI skills and confidence, and onboarding participants to specialized AI tools for nature and climate organizations we’re equipping thousands of organizations to use AI for sustainability outcomes - at scale.

We’re working with leading conservation organizations like Conservation International, corporate sustainability teams in Europe and the United States, communities of climate justice nonprofits in LatinAmerica, civil society leaders in Africa and award winning frontline community organizations in Asia.
